Vancouver Island Kart Racing (VIKR) has the vision of offering a family friendly karting environment where both the next generation of racers can develop their skills and veterans can spend an exhilarating afternoon behind the wheel.

Affordable:
Vancouver Island Kart Racing offers the most affordable kart racing experience in Canada by limiting tires costs and offering value priced entry fees and a sealed engine program (Briggs & Rotax).

Fair:
A fair playing field is maintained through our competition regulations which reward safe and skillful driving while our technical regulations enable racers with a modest budget to win at any given event.

Fun:
'Hockey dad/mom syndrome' is discouraged by intentionally lowering competitive stress (e.g. avoiding points championships) and encouraging different winners (e.g. inverting the field or making winners start at the back of the pack).
